Magbit Foundation’s Annual Gala

Magbit Foundation’s 33rd Annual Gala

Thursday, May 8th, 2025 @ 5PM

The Beverly Hilton Hotel Main Ballroom

Magbit Foundation's 33rd Annual Gala on May 8th, 2025, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel was an unforgettable and emotional evening filled with purpose, unity, and unwavering hope.

With approximately 1,000 guests in attendance, and through the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over $3 Million in support of our Israel at War Campaign.

Every dollar contributed is already making a difference — directly supporting victims of the October 7th attacks, bereaved families of the IDF and the hostages, widows and orphans and injured soldiers of all security forces. Your commitment is helping to bring comfort, dignity, and resilience to those facing unimaginable loss.

We were honored to welcome General Yoav Gallant, former Defense Minister of Israel, whose powerful words on leadership and solidarity served as a call to action.

Major Yehonatan Armoni's stirring message of sacrifice and strength inspired everyone in the room.

The courageous story of  Maya and Itay Regev, who were held captive in Gaza, brought into sharp focus the urgency of our mission.

Our work is far from over. Fundraising for the Israel at War campaign continues — if our mission resonates with you, we invite you to stand with us and be part of this ongoing effort.

32nd Annual Gala

The Magbit Foundation’s 32nd Annual Gala, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on April 4th, 2024, was an absolute success as we raised over $2,500,000 and achieved a new fundraising record for the foundation.

We honored Reuven Rivlin, the 10th President of Israel, with our Lion of Israel Award for his leadership and dedication to Israel’s cause.  Guest speakers Yasmin Margolis and Ro’ee Cohen Arazi shared their stories of strength and healing since October 7th.

Yasmin shared the story of how her husband, Saar, heroically lost his life defending the people of Kibbutz Kissufim from Hamas terrorists. With her daughters by her side, Yasmin lit a candle for Saar and the many other lives lost at the hands of these barbaric attacks.

Ro’ee had been called for reserve duty on October 7th, as a member of the Givati Brigade, defending Kibbutz Be’eri and Kfar Aza and completing missions in the Gaza strip to remove Hamas threat. During a mission in the Gaza strip an explosive devise detonated near his unit with 1 fatal injury and 14 total casualties, including himself. We salute Ro’ee for his heroism and for sharing his story with us.

Following a successful appeal, with 100% of donations pledged towards Magbit’s Emergency Aid Fund, the night culminated in celebration led by Singer Regev Hod and his band!

It is because of stories like these that we must come together to support our brothers and sisters in need. All proceeds from this year’s gala contribute to the Magbit Foundation Israel Aid fund, directly supporting orphans and widows who have lost family members during the October 7th attacks, and IDF soldiers who have been wounded in the Iron Swords War.

We look forward to our upcoming gala in May 2025. More details to come!
